Cookies are set only after you click Accept

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. Analytics and advertising cookies are set only if you click Accept. These include Google Analytics cookies (names starting with _ga) and Google Ads cookies (names starting with _gcl), which store an ad click ID so an enquiry can be linked to the ad that was clicked. Before you choose, or if you click Decline, Google’s tags run in a limited mode that does not set or read these cookies. In that mode Google may still receive basic signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed or a form was sent, together with information your browser sends with any web request (such as IP address and browser type). If you arrived from an ad, the ad click ID may also stay in the page address as you move around this site, so an enquiry can be counted without cookies.

When you send an enquiry

After our server accepts your contact-form message, the Google Ads tag reports that an enquiry was made, which type of service it was for, and a random reference number so the enquiry is counted once. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or message to Google through the tag.

Ad click IDs and campaign tags

When you arrive from an ad, the web address can include an ad click ID (gclid, gbraid or wbraid) and campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content). If you click Accept, we keep these in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days and include them with any contact-form enquiry you send, so we can see which campaign it came from. Until you choose, they are kept only until you close the browser tab. If you click Decline, they are deleted and not sent with your enquiry. We use them to understand which ads produce enquiries and may use the click ID to tell Google Ads which ad clicks led to enquiries or customers. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or message to Google for this.

Changing your choice or withdrawing consent

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer or the button below. If you choose Decline, we stop analytics and ad measurement cookies in that browser, delete the Google cookies set by this site and delete any stored click IDs and campaign tags. Your choice is saved in that browser only, so you need to repeat it in other browsers or after clearing browser data. Information sent to Google before you withdrew consent is handled under Google’s Privacy Policy. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or contact us to remove click IDs and campaign tags from an enquiry you sent.
